By the way, this whole 14+ hour game was designed and programmed by pretty much just one guy. Just throwin' it out there.

This has been typical of most heartfelt, passionate games for quite some years already. Since many-people developers have become industry [that lovable word, so often reading next to "videogames" and "shareholders"] actors, absolutely concerned with shares and very slightly with games.

If it's not one person, it's a tight little group of gamer-programmers.
I guess when they say "independent" (indie), they mean independent from
stock markets.
