I am pleasantly surprised that a new Larry game was produced and by the looks of it it seems like it would be a blast, even more than the PS2 entry that had CGI rendering. I love this style much better, it reminds me of those adult animated films like Fritz the Cat among others.

The art style does indeed work well for it. To me, it feels a lot like the recent-ish remake of the very first game in the series, but the length and complexity of the campaign is increased. I didn't go into this one with super high expectations, so I was pleasantly surprised.

"What if everything you see is more than what you see--the person next to you is a warrior and the space that appears empty is a secret door to another world? What if something appears that shouldn't? You either dismiss it, or you accept that there is much more to the world than you think. Perhaps it really is a doorway, and if you choose to go inside, you'll find many unexpected things." - Shigeru Miyamoto on secret doors to another world2
