I feel as if this is one of those old games that gets the 'classic' title by virtue of it being old. I recall that it made a minor splash at the time of its release, but classic is a stretch. (This is not a criticism of your article, btw.)

Not how I remember it; Descent was a big deal in this neck of the woods. Not sure how well it holds up, though, and am kind of afraid I'll sully my memories by finding out. A new one is welcome news.

I wondered why this remake was taking so long to get off the ground. I thoroughly enjoyed the original, though I'm unsure about how enthusiastic I am about this one. I hope they've got a good handle on the controls, coming to Switch.

We'll see, won't we?
