Hmm. I'm sure I'm wrong, but from that tiny clip, I'm seeing DoA5LR with some new outfits on the girls, which is disappointing. I expected more.

I don't believe the game arrives until 2019, so it still has time to look prettier and to get more ambitious in terms of design. However, the final product may wind up exactly as you fear. I think fighting games have reached a point where--at least with current hardware--they're unlikely to look much better in ways that draw attention to themselves. And a lot of developers don't have the resources to push hard against those barriers, unless someone like Sony or Microsoft is paying them to do so. Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja aren't currently in that position with Dead or Alive 6, as far as I know.

Yeah, that's a shame.

I stay up most nights until somewhere between 12 and 1. I'm just usually reading. Tomorrow, my wife and I don't have to be to work until a little later than normal, so I'll probably write another 2 or 3 news articles before reading a bit and going to bed. Gotta make the most of whatever time I have away from ye olde day job!
