Planet Crashers! I pay pretty close attention to the e-shop, but hadn't seen this gem yet.

You're right: I am at least a bit like you, and sort of do want to give the game a tumble. At least I did until the part about the Super Mario RPG thing. I had read about Mario RPGs for years, and desperately wanted to play one, but ultimately discovered that my particular brain really is not into that sort of thing.

On the other hand, I am right at this moment playing the opening sections of the original Final Fantasy.... As Dave Barry says, "I am not making this up."

How much is this game? It may be that, given your review, I can't not try it.

Come on you boy child
You winner and loser
Come on you miner for truth and delusion
And shine!

There are a handful of people who enjoy this one (though I've heard there was a beta PC version that was infinitely better than the 3DS edition), so it's not impossible to get into. Personally, I found its content to be so banal as to be grating, but some folks were able to look past it. It pains me to write that, too, because I loved developer Renegade Kid. Mutant Mudds and Xeodrifter are terrific games.

Thanks for reading!
