That's a real good review. I'd read plenty of things by people saying that the company didn't do all they could have done with the good/evil theme, but to read that it's so poorly designed that simply fighting antagonistic monsters makes you "good", forcing you to mass murder villages to balance that out and get "evil" again is just sad.

I actually wasn't happy with this review at all, at least initially, because it spells out how difficult reviewing can often be: You'll notice I got through that game without detailing the battle system, hitting up some of the subtler aspects of the game, or even mentioning the game's excellent audiovisual presentation. I didn't want to ramble on for too long and my main point of focus was the breakdown of Fable's freedom factor, I was just hoping I wouldn't wind up sacrificing too much vital information as a result. Glad to hear you liked it.
