Thanks! I also didn't mind it when I first played it, mostly for the same reason as you (that and I thought it was a mortal sin to dislike something with Mario in it). Returning to it in my twenties didn't prove to be the experience I had hoped for, and I've maintained my middling opinion of it since.

Of course, I also think Arkanoid, DX-Ball, and Wizord helped ruin this game for me...


The only thing my milkshake brings to the yard is a subpoena.
