That's pretty cool. I enjoyed Resistance 1, even if there was something indescribably bland about it. It had no sense of pacing, I think and only the barest sense of immersion. It was just one firefight after the other. But the controls were smooth and I was interested in playing 2 and 3. Never got around to it.

This IS very cool. You're right - the first one was bland, especially in appearance. The second, I remember being all around the best, even if the third has amazingly high production values.

Also my favorite all-around guns. Each weapon really felt unique from another and there wasn't the Halo effect of "one gun" and then "the gun that's better than the one gun."

Yes! The guns are awesome. The sniper felt particularly destructive, and then there's the one that can shoot through walls. I'm definitely picking this up.
