It's probably only for select games because, from what I understand, it costs quite a bit to have a port made for the Vita, despite it being a download-only system.

EA has basically said they're thinking about getting in on the Cross Buy program. (How's that for an online pass?) Sony has only announced those three games for it.

Vita isn't download-only but it's probably safe to assume that the Vita versions of the games included in the program will be the download versions. Porting from PS3 to Vita isn't *that* hard, but it is extra work that not every developer or publisher is going to think is worth the funding and manpower.

If the tiny Sound Shapes team could release that game on PS3 and Vita at the same time, it can't be that difficult.
