So the game doesn't even have an end? It just loops endlessly until you lose all your lives or fall asleep?

It's funny about the pants-wetting visuals. I remember feeling that way about Starwing (Star Fox elsewhere in the world) and, before that, Sonic 2. At least they did actually look alright.
