Holy shit, those screenshots are almost indistinguishable from portal. Like, it could be taking place in another part of the Aperture science facility. And probably should have, actually. That would've been an instant sell.

Great review with a lot of phrases I could see myself using to describe games in general, especially this one: "We play games primarily for enjoyment; we play games ideally for the full package." Keep writing reviews like this and one day we'll just start making fun of you like we did Zig until you drift away into reviewing for IGN or something.

The first screenshot in this review depicts the "fluffy" dimension, which turns everything white and plush like that. It wasn't a mistake that I used it immediately after calling the game a Portal wannabe, and I'm actually quite pleased that you picked up on it.

The idea about this being a Portal spinoff is actually a good one and may have actually happened if Swift still worked for Valve. The glove (I forget exactly what it's called) could have just been another Aperture prototype, and the game would've had a proper physics system, better atmosphere and funnier dialog.

Worth repeating: The game is fun. It's also way more forgettable than I think it had any intention of being.

Thanks for reading and commenting, Zipp. Your feedback is always appreciated.

Yeah, I figured the screenshot choice was intentional. Pretty ridiculous!

I should point out that you made it sound like a fun game and got me interested even as I agreed with your complaints about the similarities and the lack of style as compared to the original portal game. It really is too bad that this couldn't have been an extension to Portal. Then everything would be fine.
