This is how I felt about all the disgaea's I've ever played. It's one of those games where I feel like you can come up with an incredibly detailed and tricky-to-pull off strategical solution to a situation... or you can just throw your best melee fighters at things and hit the confirm button until everything's dead.

The main thing I found Disgaea has going for it is it's whimsical approach to its characters and story telling. But after a while you realize that it's all pretty mainstream anime comedy spoof material. And it was done better in excel saga.


Note to gamers: when someone shoots you in the face, they aren't "gay." They are "psychopathic."
