Yeah, Heavy is Russian, Medic is German.

That's the promotional vid Valve did for the Heavy, you can very clearly tell he has a Russian accent.

I guess I never really paid much attention despite the number of times I've heard "We must push little cart!" I'm terrible with accents anyway. Thanks for the heads-up.
