Ys has never really been a title noted for epic, twisting storylines, but Strategy makes a half-hearted attempt to change this.

I disagree, as the Yses I’ve played had pretty epic stories.

I did get a kick out of reading all of the shortcomings and strange events that occur in this game, though. It really highlighted why this game got the score that you gave it, and that makes even more sense considering they changed Adol’s name and there’s a different developer behind this title.

Over all, it’s a very good review.

I don't have to boost my review resume because I have a real resume.

I disagree with your disagreement! The Ys stuff always seemed more kooky than epic, what with having to rescue Mayors from crumbling mines because they went in there for no reason whatsoever and such.

But thanks for the comments. Glad it came out well.

For us. For them. For you.

I wonder if "Ys Strategy" is an intentional pun.
