The reason I reviewed this game: After reading Zig's Dark Spire review, I thought to myself that it'd be cool to play a first-person old-school style dungeon crawler. I should have resumed my quests in Curse of the Azure Bonds or Wizardry I-II-III......or gone to a used game store to find that PS2 Wizardry game. Any would have been better.

As for the rat-house quest......I can say that it was just as epic as the final jaunt through Harlac's castle.
