I actually found very little wrong with this except for general things like lengthy and wordy sentence structures that require occasional rereading, but that's alright. I've always liked how you can make a game initially sound bad only to end up making it sound interesting in the end.

Granted, I've neither played any Metal Slug games (except for the third on some arcade machine somewhere) nor read all the reviews for any of them that people get tired of, so I get to just see it for what it is rather than what has come before.

You seem to have a habit of reviewing fine games, but even so, your reviews are still better than the games you review most of the time.
