Pretty informative review here, and it mostly aligns with comments that I've been reading about the game from players since its early release a few days back. I've been thinking for weeks if I wanted to get this game for the 360, but with everything I've heard about it since, I think I'm going to pass, maybe picking it up when the price drops.

On another note, I think that, after they patch the game up a bit, they should just move on to making XIII. I'm not really thrilled about having to invest in a game that's a little above average to begin with, only to have them force us to pay for DLC so we can have a better game.

I expect them to make The King of Fighters XIII and I expect it to kick ass. This felt to me like Gran Turismo 5 Prologue will no doubt feel when compared to Gran Turismo 5 (once that game actually arrives). The difference is that The King of Fighters XII doesn't feel complete even within that context. You can absolutely have a blast playing it, but... yeah. You read the review.

"Too often we enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought." - John F. Kennedy on reality

"What if everything you see is more than what you see--the person next to you is a warrior and the space that appears empty is a secret door to another world? What if something appears that shouldn't? You either dismiss it, or you accept that there is much more to the world than you think. Perhaps it really is a doorway, and if you choose to go inside, you'll find many unexpected things." - Shigeru Miyamoto
