I started having back pain late last night. Thought I was just sore from just sitting at my desk for so long, so I thought I could just sleep it off. After laying down for a little while, the pain spread to my side and gut. It hurt so much that laying down in any position hurt like Hell. I knew I wasn't going to get any sleep, so I went to the hospital get to get checked out. A few shots, some blood extraction, a scanning, and urine sample later, the docs told me I have a kidney stone. They gave me a prescription for Vicodin and told me to go home. The exhaustion and the morphine in my body caused me to sleep over 12 hours straight.

Summary: I have kidney stones, and I have to take Vicodin to deal with the inevitable pain. All I need now is a cane and some sarcastic wit. Then I can be just like House!

I can't emphasize with the kidney stones, but I know what it's like to go in and out of the hospital with pain medication. Hope things work out for you, man.
