**** that. FFTA certainly doesn't deserve 1750 word reviews. 1500 maybe, but that's pushing it. I went back and added a bunch of unnecessary filler, over-explained much of the gameplay, and added far too many adjectives. I'd go back and edit it after it gets posted, but I won't get home from work before Bacon leaves for the weekend. Bleh. Expect an excessively trimmed-down copy in the near future.

Yeah, I still have my job. Office politics are never a good thing, especially with my boss. She's the kind of person who's off in their own little world, who never takes the responsbility to learn even basic transactions, and likes to blame other people for the branch's misfortunes. If you talk to her, you'll realize that she lacks any sincerity whatsoever; she's all smiles when it comes to customers, but people know when she's lying. To quote one customer survey: "your manager has the personality of a dinosaur."

Whatever that means.

Anyway, I just got yelled at a bit in the weekly morning meeting and was basically told that I gave up the money, so it's my fault. In retrospect, I should have just walked to the nearby phone and called the police, but I decided to try getting the help of my moronic manager. And we all know how that turned out. So no, I didn't get fired, just verbally chastised in front of everyone.

Wee.

*Sighs* It's stuff like this that makes me glad I'm only a part-timer these days.

Good to know that you won't be living on the streets from here on out.

Yeah, it's pretty easy to tell when someone is just saying what you want to hear, unless you happen to be a total idiot of a customer. Patronizing managers smile too much and they always take it out on an employee as they're leaving the room, it seems like. I've seen quite a few people like that. Typically, they don't last all that long because it's not a very effective management style.

I'm going to review FFTA eventually. Hopefully it won't need 3000 words by then. 1750 sounds like a struggle alone. But I think I can manage it by ranting about a lot of the stuff I disliked.

So you're censoring, eh? I may be new to HonestGamers, but I'm fairly certain that you're allowed to swear here.

Yeah, that word limit thing sucks.

Don't you know? KB count is directly proportional to quality. The more filler, the more passionate you appear (and the more likely you are to get RotM). CJayC loved my Postal review which was nothing but filler and aimless rambling. Add in song lyrics or poetry if you think that cosplaying weirdo Bacon will reject it.
