Here you are, at the mother lode of cheats for Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance. Please note that staff make no promises as to whether or not reader-submitted cheats will work properly. Feel free to report if you find a cheat that does not work so a member of staff can look into the problem.
Replay as Maxim and access sound test
If you'd like to play as Juste's friend Maxim (as well as have the option to listen to the game's various musical compositions), all you have to do is complete the game as Juste and get the best ending.
To get the best ending, completely clear both castles (200% will be your percentile when you look at the map of castles A & B) and wear Juste's and Maxim's bracelets during the final encounters in Castle B. If you succeed in surviving the struggle, you'll see the game credits.
Now begin a new game in the second or third slot, leaving the game you've just completed in place. Enter your name as 'MAXIM' and when you begin playing, you will be in control of Maxim rather than Juste.
Note that Maxim cannot raise levels or collect items other than the life upgrades. He'll defeat most enemies in three strokes, regardless of their strength (boss battles excluded). This mode is much more challenging and will test your familiarity with the castle and your ability to survive on limited means. Have fun!
