Secrets/Easter Eggs

Cheap Trick

Having trouble unlocking things in this mammoth golf title?  No worries.  When you begin a tournament or a character battle, play the first hole as normal.  If you get a par or a birdie, advance to the next course, then save your game.

You'll be taken back to the main screen, where you can then resume the saved file.  Continuing does not overwrite the file, so you can play the next hole as normal.  If you get a par or a birdie (depending on your goal), you can go ahead and continue, then save.  Just repeat this to go through the tournaments and character matches.

This trick is a great way to get the birdie goals on each course, and to win tournaments to unlock all the courses.  You can also use it to gain the star characters.  Note that when you finish the 18th hole of golf in a tournament, the game will automatically save.  Therefore, you won't want to finish that last hole until you know you're doing so in the desired position.
