I'm not ready to tell you about myself yet, and that won't likely change anytime soon.

@zippdementia @zippdementia @JoeTheDestroyer @EmP @Ben True, it's easy enough to get the whole cave/flood/base parts out of order and make matters tougher for yourself. Stark: it's refreshing to hear someone new to the game say they like it now.
Marc Golding @MastersJul 22, 2014
@EmP @Ben I beat it in one short sittings, always thinking fondly of it. I'm just disappointed that they never include the amazing SNES version score in any of these updates. Digitized French horns FTW...
Marc Golding @MastersJul 22, 2014
@EmP @Ben Gary, I found the game to be WAY easier than it used to be, for a few reasons. 1. I mostly remembered what to do. 2. The vastly improved graphics make things clearer. 3. No more fussing with passwords.
Marc Golding @MastersOct 28, 2013
Is the site changing its name to JOEGAMERS.COM?
Marc Golding @MastersOct 11, 2013
@wolfqueen001 Ok, I'll try adding you again tonight.
Marc Golding @MastersOct 08, 2013
@wolfqueen001 I tried to add you and failed. You sure you got the name right here?
Marc Golding @MastersSep 24, 2013
@JoeTheDestroyer @joseph_valencia Same. Well, I would if I had a Wii...
Marc Golding @MastersSep 24, 2013
@JoeTheDestroyer Despite the short, fat characters, Bloodlines was awesome. Wasn't the newish Wiiware Rebirth a sequel of sorts? Can't recall now...
Marc Golding @MastersSep 19, 2013
@overdrive Yup, that's a great collection.
Marc Golding @MastersSep 17, 2013
@wolfqueen001 I'll see if I can remember when I get home. ^_^
Marc Golding @MastersSep 11, 2013
@JoeTheDestroyer Good comparison. I thought of it as OoTW meets The Walking Dead. One of the few titles I miss having since I gave up my 360.
Marc Golding @MastersSep 11, 2013
@JoeTheDestroyer I loved that game.
Marc Golding @MastersAug 28, 2013
@honestgamer @JoeTheDestroyer @zippdementia Was it an experiment? Or were u rly going to go with that? Hard on the eyes, but maybe that was just me...
Marc Golding @MastersAug 26, 2013
Argh! My eyes
Marc Golding @MastersAug 26, 2013
@overdrive I've never gotten through that. I should try it out again soon.
Marc Golding @MastersAug 24, 2013
@JoeTheDestroyer Haha, "I won the game!" I do remember that as well. End guy, huh? I recall dudes saying "end boss," which seemed unnecessary.
Marc Golding @MastersAug 23, 2013
@JoeTheDestroyer And it wasn't a one-time thing. He'd be like, "So I only got 3 more NES games to conquer now!" So strange.
Marc Golding @MastersAug 23, 2013
@JoeTheDestroyer That reminds me: I knew this kid who, when we said we 'finished' a game, always said, "Yes, I CONQUERED that game as well..."
Marc Golding @MastersAug 22, 2013
@Suskie Another crappy part: Adams incapacitated against the burning chopper...
Marc Golding @MastersAug 22, 2013
@Suskie Level 10 in the underground parking garage was the worst part for me because my partners kept getting themselves killed. >:(
Marc Golding @MastersAug 22, 2013
@Suskie Did you plat this game? I'm on level 14 now. I'm not having that much trouble with it...
Marc Golding @MastersAug 21, 2013
Man, Spec Ops: The Line on FUBAR difficulty is a BITCH.
Marc Golding @MastersAug 20, 2013
@JoeTheDestroyer @Suskie @pickhut Contra is a notable exception. The original is way better than Contra III.
Marc Golding @MastersAug 20, 2013
@JoeTheDestroyer @Suskie @pickhut No way it's just you. The SNES sequels of a lot of NES classics just murdered the NES originals.
Marc Golding @MastersAug 20, 2013
@Suskie @pickhut Yes it has. The days of mapping levels out yourself... well... they're more than a distant memory.
Marc Golding @MastersAug 20, 2013
@pickhut I feel like Metroid is one of those games that is unplayable because it's been eclipsed so completely by its follow up.
Marc Golding @MastersAug 19, 2013
@honestgamer @EmP Congrats dude. What comes next?
Marc Golding @MastersAug 08, 2013
@espiga Which character and which actress, pray tell
Marc Golding @MastersAug 06, 2013
@overdrive So it's no to Macross. SDF there stands for Super Dimensional Fortress. Here it is Space Defending Force.
Marc Golding @MastersAug 06, 2013
@overdrive http://www.obsolete-tears.com/sdf-space-defending-force-uchuu-keibitai-sdf-nintendo-nes-test-800.html
Marc Golding @MastersAug 06, 2013
@honestgamer Yes, I saw this awhile back. I was just disappointed there weren't more Tiger games (just one, I think).
Marc Golding @MastersAug 06, 2013
@overdrive SDF? Is there a Macross/Robotech connection?
Marc Golding @MastersAug 06, 2013
@overdrive what game is this?
Marc Golding @MastersAug 02, 2013
@zippdementia @zippdementia @JoeTheDestroyer @overdrive I remember there being some very annoying one-hit kill enemies in the game too.
Marc Golding @MastersAug 02, 2013
@zippdementia @zippdementia @JoeTheDestroyer @overdrive At least RE5 was fun. (Even if RE6 was stupid.) Homecoming is a serious drag.
Marc Golding @MastersJul 30, 2013
@EmP @zippdementia @overdrive @JoeTheDestroyer I think the thing we knew as Silent Hill has been dead and gone for a long time now.
Marc Golding @MastersFeb 22, 2013
@JoeTheDestroyer @pickhut Good bunch of guys over there. Why let a thing like death get in the way of gaming or getting the last word in?
Marc Golding @MastersFeb 22, 2013
@Masters @JoeTheDestroyer @pickhut The irony: 'well he laughed when my grandmother died, so I'll do the same now - he showed no respect'
Marc Golding @MastersFeb 22, 2013
@JoeTheDestroyer @pickhut That reminds me of when PP passed away. Folks at GameFAQs, including some mods I think, were all, "serves him right"
Marc Golding @MastersFeb 22, 2013
@overdrive Before I got my Duo, I would play my burned copies on the ME no problem. I have Rondo too! >_>
Marc Golding @MastersFeb 21, 2013
@honestgamer ... all our reviews are now comment-less!
Marc Golding @MastersFeb 21, 2013
@honestgamer I'm sure it was all in the name of progress... but wow, first the forum comments, then the first round of Disqus comments...
Marc Golding @MastersFeb 21, 2013
@JoeTheDestroyer @overdrive Magic Engine works with burned copies of original CDs just fine though, Rob.
Marc Golding @MastersFeb 21, 2013
@honestgamer are the Disqus comments not working anymore?
Marc Golding @MastersDec 28, 2012
@honestgamer No? Not even with all the really cool games? :P Anyway, it's a shame. How's the DS lookin' these days?
Marc Golding @MastersDec 28, 2012
@honestgamer i thought about it and realized the games I'd want most are PSP and PS1 titles. I've been down that road w/PSP already...
Marc Golding @MastersDec 28, 2012
@honestgamer That's too bad. I had $400 in store credit and I was gonna get the Vita months ago... but it hasn't impressed me with its lineup.
Marc Golding @MastersDec 28, 2012
@honestgamer Is that an RPG, Venter?
Marc Golding @MastersDec 28, 2012
I had forgotten that this was "Defend your Vita to the death day"
Marc Golding @MastersDec 28, 2012
@Roto13 After all your snarkiness, guess what? I still feel Vita has no awesome games for it. But I'm glad you're happy with your 'really cool games.'
