Title: DoI, I choose YOU!!!
Posted: August 15, 2007 (04:35 PM)
Yeah, bud, this is me officially calling you out. I don't even usually do that. But this week. . . you'll see! You'll see what kinda damage I can do - with my words!!
Be prepared! Be scared! Be morbidly afraaaaaid!
I will rain doom down upon you!!!*
*= (That is, if I can finish my project by the deadline TOnight. Otherwise, I must inform you that there's no need to try, you're going to slaughter me)
Title: I have an announcement to make.
Posted: August 13, 2007 (11:23 PM)
As you all may (or may not, more likely) know, I started writing reviews exclusively for Honest Gamers in February of this current year. While I can't claim that any of them are a claim to internet fame, I feel confident to exclaim the love that I felt while writing them.
Now that they're published here on the internet, it's as though I have another effigy for my eventual resume. Whether or not you've appreciated the work I've put into bringing the truth to those who are looking for an honest opinion, it remains that I have indeed put much work into each piece.
Now that I'm in the running of the TT for the first time, a welling depression has begun to arise from someplace deep within. This feeling knows no stopping; I've tried all that I can think of, but it boils down to a single, root problem.
This pain that kills me, I've identified it. Yes, I know it well.
That is why I announce, that I must beat Espiga. I must! And if I cannot, in fact, beat Espiga off the face of this game board. . .
Well, I've come to terms with the heavy weight of a possible loss. And I've decided that, if I lose, I will retire.
Title: Question to anyone who uses a cell phone.
Posted: August 01, 2007 (12:43 PM)
I just got a Razr thingy; how the hell do I hook it up to the PC? I've got the cable and there's a port on the side of the phone that fits. It gets connected alright, but it doesn't show up as a device.
Tells me I need the software, but I've looked on the internet and can't find any kind of support.
Am I just searching with the wrong words, maybe?

Won't load. . .
Guilty Gear XX: #Reload won't load! BLARG ON MICROSOFT.
I wanna play TWO WORLDS and ETERNAL SONATA.
Title: Good luck, and some other things.

Just wanted to offer my wishes of good fortune to all the TT runners - glad to be competing and working alongside such rad internet people.
On another note; wow. I was taken aback by Ninja Gaiden: Black. I skipped out on the first iteration, so I'm not 100% clear on what all was changed/added - but the game rocked my shit with some killer bits.
I was as ready as ever to pass it off as Tecmo trying to cash in on building a Devil May Cry clone, which is what it looked like at a glance. An hour into the game, I was hooked.
And ten hours in I was all, 'Devil Who What?'.
And nearly fifteen hours in, when I sliced and diced the final foe, I was in heaven, man. Ninja Gaiden might be a Devil May Cry clone, but exceeds it in nearly every department. I applaud Team Ninja, and am shitting my shorts in antici. . . pation, for Ninja Gaiden 2.
The only thing that disappointed me about the game was my hope that it would mirror the three NES versions and use a stage based system, where each one was in its own, unique setting.
I think I might try my hand at reviewing this one; I know Zig beat me to it, but I think I might have the upper hand. I beat the bitch on normal - TAKE THAT!
Title: SSB:M blows.

I've been working on a piece. . .
I think it blows. The piece, I mean.
The game, too, but more the work of writing.
Title: HTML Help

Anyone know how to add a song to a page, that plays automatically, then loops?
Title: My OPINION
Posted: July 16, 2007 (10:17 PM)
It is my opinion, that what with all these my opinion blogs going around, there's a slight Gamefaqs message board vibe going on and I think it's pretty strange.

I took down my FFXII review and patched it up; added some things and took many others away.
It lost a lot of length in the process, but I feel a lot better for correcting the pace, structure and above all - run on sentences.
I still have trouble.
You guys should give me dating advice.
Title: Max Payne 2

My favorite surly, video game badass ignites the screen with his second chapter.
Did I do him justice?
Title: Romancing Saga

If you never have, check it out. This game was pretty brilliant. Share the love.
Title: Shadow Hearts update
Posted: July 12, 2007 (02:19 PM)
Updated my SH review, and made it a little better, I hope. I didn't take away any of the negative, but I think the problem before was that I didn't clarify when I became positive.
Take a look.
Should I re-submit, or just leave it edited like this?
Okay, someone take a look at myspace.com/the_loop and tell me if the way I set up my reviews looks alright. Thanks to Espiga for helping me with the tags and stuff.
Title: Take that, IE.
Posted: July 12, 2007 (01:12 AM)
After an infuriating setback (I am SO getting a MAC), I've gotten all but one of my reviews hotlinked to pictures on my Myspace page.
Now I just need to figure out how to code it so that they open in a new window. . .
But anyway, hopefully that should increase my hit count. Thanks, Felix. : )

Ya piece of shit! Damned Oregon shit summer weather, balls! Screw this - garrrrrr! It's so humidddddddd I hate this shit.
And when it comes to accomplishing the task of completing the second half of my The Darkness review, it's all the worse. I need inspiration. . .
I'll get some Chinese food.
On a different note (about The Darkness), I heard that the song in the closing credits is done by Tomahawk, one of Mike Patton's (VA for The Darkness) projects.
Interestingly enough, I picked up the newest Tomahawk CD a week or so ago, never having heard the stuff before.
I dunno. . . I'm Native American and all, but Anonymous sounds mostly like a piece of instrumental bullshit with some odd chanting. Maybe it'll take a few more listens? I dunno.
My question for anyone who's familiar with Tomahawk: What the dick?
