It's not like it's the very worst RPG ever made; no, that dubious honour goes to Monsterseed. But while Monsterseed is simply a poorly-made crapfest that happens to be hilariously inept, Chrono Cross is an insult to my intelligence. The reason is simple: every place you visit in Chrono Cross feels right. When you leave your home village to gather some shells and make your sexy girlfriend a necklace, lizards scramble across mounds of pale sand while peaceful waves lap at the distant shore.
