Rage the new IP from id Software that combines racing with FPS action won the best overall game of E3 award from IGN.......
if this is such a good game i wonder why it wasnt shown at any of the big 3's conferences when it is a multiplatform release......
i havent seen any footage of this game......might do so over the weekend....

i've had my eye on it for a while, but i'm not getting my hopes up either. level design is an afterthought to iD a lot of the time. see: Doom 3, Quake / II single player.

Doom 3 was sort of like a remake/reimagining of the original Doom so i wouldnt rate it as one of their best works.....if Doom 4 disappoints then we can blame id for ruining the Doom franchise....still its great to see new IPs in the midst of all the sequels that were announced/shown a E3.....
