Worms Reloaded get a good score
August 30, 2010now this one was a surprise for me.....i didnt even know a Worms game was in the making.....and this one got a good score from Gamespot.....an 8/10......i just might pick this up too..... :D

zippdementia - August 30, 2010 (12:07 PM) The status of Population 2 is "right on target." Right now we're pulling together the final edit. It looks incredible. Some of the colorization and effects are just amazing. The lead actress is chillingly accurate in her portrayal of the very conflicted main character. We don't have music or sound editing done yet, but we've screened it ourselves using placeholder music to get the beats and moods right. In any case, we're shooting for an October or November release. It will open here in Portland, Oregon. After that, the current plan is to go to the film festivals with it and maybe do showings across the country at indie theatres until we get a distributor behind it. We've already had some promising responses from the industry, so I think one day you will see Population 2 distributed on a wide basis. We're also going to Cannes for the film market there and will definitely submit the film to be shown. |

Halon - August 30, 2010 (09:06 PM) I've been playing it the past couple of days - it's alright. Worms Armageddon (and possibly even Worms 2) from 11-12 years back had way more content, abilities, larger battlefields (Reloaded's cap is 4v4), etc. The gameplay is classic Worms, multiplayer is a blast and I'm glad the series is back in 2D, but also a bit surprised with the lack of content here. Well it's only $20 so I shouldn't complain. |

blood-omen - August 31, 2010 (10:23 AM) while i would love to see a copy i would recommend you not to send me one.....the regular postal service here is super unreliable.....Jason sent over 3 games for me to review for the PC and they never got to me :( so now i only do digital downloads whenever they become available which hasnt been in the longest time now....... but thanx for the offer.....maybe we can figure something else out..... |

zippdementia - August 31, 2010 (01:07 PM) Well, remember that I'll own the master copy... once we get DVDs going, it shouldn't be costly for me to print an extra one or two to try and send your way. My big concern is whether or not your DVD drives can play them. I'm not up to speed on the current regions. |
