so was crazy abt a girl for like 2.5 years and when i finally got the courage to tell her, she told me she was engaged.....talk abt devastation.....so Alfred Tennyson, the guy who said 'it's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all' must have been a loser at love too coz winners dont say crappy quotes, they are busy celebrating their victory, it's the losers who need excuses....

There are other lessons that you can learn from that, though. Lesson one: tell people how you feel about them sooner. If you learn from that, you don't have to see stuff like that happen again. It's just handling that in the meantime that sucks, so good luck with it.

It's true that it's better to have loved and lost, though. The thing is that it's better to have loved--where that love was returned--and lost. That doesn't sound like it was the case here, which explains why you're not agreeing with the sentiment. If things had been different, though, if you'd had proper love the way it was intended... maybe you'd feel differently. You can still have that, too, so make sure that you keep after it.

actually it took me so long to tell her is because the time wasnt right before that......believe me if i cud do it b4 that i wud have done so....

as far as there being other fish in the sea.....thats about compromising and i hate that.....why shud i have to?????that just suxxxxxx......i really liked that fish :(
