Title: Fable III confirmed for the PC....yayyyyyyy
Posted: May 22, 2010 (12:00 AM)
i think this is good news right?fable 1 was released on the PC but 2 wasnt and now 3 has been confirmed for the PC......though ive not played Fable that much i do like the idea of the game evolving according to the decisions you make (something that happens in quite a few games now)......so i think it will be exciting to see what Fable III can do and expand in this regard.....
Title: Lara Croft goes in a new direction
Posted: May 21, 2010 (01:33 AM)
this summer Lara Croft stars in a different kind of action/adventure game....some "arcade-inspired adventure viewed from a fixed isometric perspective"......and i have no idea what that means......while im all for creativity im not sure if the Tomb Raider franchise needs a reinvention right now so not so happy with this news.......
Title: is spending $1000 on your PC too much????
Posted: May 20, 2010 (01:03 AM)
just wondering is spending $1000 on your PC (that would be me) in a year too much? if u average it out it only comes to $83.33 per month and i dont think thats a lot.......
Title: a slow day for blogging
Posted: May 20, 2010 (12:57 AM)

Title: Call of Duty: Black Ops vs. Medal of Honor
Posted: May 19, 2010 (01:34 AM)
im looking forward more to the rebirth of Medal of Honor than the next installment of Call of Duty......and also hoping that MOH kicks COD's ass this time around.....although the COD is a gr8 franchise and i dont want it to end anytime, i just want some other modern military shooter to dominate the scene for a change.....
Title: Assassin's Creed II early impressions (PC)
Posted: May 18, 2010 (11:55 PM)
this post shud be titled a little late impressions coz ive played like 3 or 4 hours of this game......and enjoying it A LOT......this is exactly wat a sequel should be like: familiar and different at the same time.......so whats to like about this game: multiple ways to assassinate enemies, treasure chests, tons of stuff to buy, u can dye your robe in different colors and lots of side missions, conspiracies galore.....whats to dislike about this game: it takes a long time for u to become an assassin and do the fun stuff.....thats because Ezio (the new main character) isnt an assassin like Altair from the start but slowly becomes one due to the events that happen in his life......overall an AWESOME game......oh yeah the always online DRM might give u headaches too.....
Title: Splinter Cell: Conviction early impressions (PC)
Posted: May 18, 2010 (01:22 AM)
so played through a couple or more hours of Conviction and the things to like about this game are the way the story and objectives unfold in front of you.....its all text but the text appears seamlessly on the walls, containers and buildings around u and thats not all, flashbacks in the form of movies also play on the walls etc as you are moving across a level, its a great new way of storytelling that keeps u engrossed in the game all the time, writing about it doesnt make it feel special so u have to watch it to appreciate it.....then there are the executions: one bullet kills in slow motion, interrogations: scripted brutal events where u beat up an enemy to get answers, the freedom to clear a stage of enemies in watever way u please, finally, how the screen turns black and white when u are in cover and regains color when u are exposed is an awesome effect which means u dont require any on-screen indicator to find out whether u are hiddne or exposed......what i didnt like abt the game is the fact that your silenced pistol has infinite ammo (while other guns dont) which means that even if your cover is blown u can be brash about using bullets to dispose off the enemies.....it wud have been nicer to have limited ammo for all weapons.....other than that nothing much to dislike about this game....its awesome so get it while its hot........
Title: Another mediocore week of releases on the PC
Posted: May 17, 2010 (02:06 AM)
yes sadly this week also sees or rather does not see any high profile games being released on the PC.....Disney's racer Split/Second is coming out on the PC which has gotten a score of 8.5 by IGN so seems like a promising game.....will have to wait and see what other sites have to say about that game.....other than that Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands makes it way on to consoles and handhelds but sadly not on the PC :( the game releases on the PC in June......next we have a Dragon Age DLC titled Darkspawn Chronicles which lets u play as the Darkspawn but i didnt like Dragon Age so im not that interested in this DLC either.....finally we have Fallen Earth Zero (an RPG), Legio (an RTS), Sword of the Stars: Complete Collection, Shrek Forever After and EVE Online: Tyrannis making up for the PC releases of this week.....while the quantity is strong im not really sure of the quality of these releases.....*fingers crossed*

Title: Left 4 Dead 3 should have a single player campaign
Posted: May 12, 2010 (11:56 PM)
i have played both parts of this amazing game and both times i wished that this game had a single player story/campaign coz it has all the makings of one......multiple zombie types, nice arsenal of weapons, nice variety in level design and more.....so Valve, plllllllllllllllllzzzzzzzzz make Left 4 Dead 3 an FPS shooter with a story/campaign.......
