Title: E3 starts in 12 hours and a super slow week of releases.....
Posted: June 13, 2010 (10:50 PM)
Microsoft's E3 press conference starts in almost 12 hours.....i will be watching this one live (HOPEFULLY).....super excited about this event...i wish i could be there :(

and its no surprise then that this week has no major titles releasing on any platform.....unless u consider Toy Story 3 to be a major release which i dont.....

the PC will see 3 games (besides Toy Story 3) being released this week: SBK-09 Superbike World Championship which is all about....u guessed it superbikes.....then there is the strategy game Making History II (there was a part 1 of this game too?): The War of the World.....and finally a point and click adventure titled The Book of Unwritten Tales......

so everyone enjoy E3.....i know i will!!!!!!!!!!

Title: the new MK will be in 2D......WEEKEND starts in 7 hours.....looking forward to this one.....
Posted: June 10, 2010 (11:57 PM)
slow day for gaming news except that the new Mortal Kombat will be in 2D with the 'deepest storyline' in a fighting game.......ooooooooooooooooo impressed NOT!!!!!!!!!!!the same old 'we've been listening to what fans have been asking' mantra.....if every developer is listening to what fans are asking why then are there sucky games still being made?????????

anywayz....weekend starts in 7 hours and really looking forward to this one....will be buying Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands (PC), some DVD movies, a new cellphone (LG KP 500 a.k.a Cookie) and eating out with a couple of friends.....so its going to be a good weekend HOPEFULLY!!!!!

Title: Violent games mostly 'harmless' - Study
Posted: June 10, 2010 (12:05 AM)
from Gamespot: " Review of General Psychology deems aggressive software safe for vast majority of youths--but can harm ones with preexisting mental health issues."

nuff said......there is more to the study but that is enough for me :D

Title: didnt like Assassin's Creed II's ending......III cud be a prequel
Posted: June 09, 2010 (11:54 PM)
yesternight i finished AC II and i was kinda disappointed with the ending....while the whole game revolves around religion, myths and the likes, the ending takes a whole sciency turn which was weird.....

judging from the ending i also think Assassin's Creed III will be a prequel, which will make more sense of the Egyptian setting (if the Egyptian setting is in fact for the 3rd part).....being a prequel will help the 3rd one answer questions raised by the ending of 2nd one.......

Title: Max Payne 3 delayed and Mortal Kombat being reborn
Posted: June 08, 2010 (11:15 PM)
Take-Two announced that Max Payne 3 will not be releasing in its' current fiscal year that ends in October if im not wrong (awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww)......personally im not too excited about Max Payne 3 coz ive heard they have changed the game quite a lot and im afraid that in the process the game will loose all that made Max Payne.......u know Max Payne and it will end being another 3rd person action/adventure......

i also read Mortal Kombat is being reborn either in the form of a movie or a game or both......being a PC gamer (for this year at least and the near forseeable future after 2010) i could care less about fighting games....although i did buy Street Fighter IV on the PC and liked it a lot too, i played it for a very small time like only 5-7 hours......maybe because i was using a mouse/keyboard combination or i was only playing it in Single Player....for some reason i didnt get hooked on to SF IV......so MK:Rebirth (seems like the official title) i wish u good luck but i say to u 'Meh'

Title: Red Faction: Armageddon and Dungeon Siege 3 announced
Posted: June 07, 2010 (11:23 PM)
as the subject says, 2 games announced i.e. Red Faction: Armageddon by THQ and Dungeon Siege 3 by Obsidian....both will be releasing on the PC (thank god!!!!!!!!!!!!!), Xbox 360 and PS3........i played last year's Red Faction Guerrilla and liked it a lot for the destruction that u can cause especially with your hammer and i also liked the new direction the series took with Guerrilla.....but Armageddon doesnt come out till 2011 so i believe waiting is in order.....i dont remember playing Dungeon Siege so am kinda indifferent to the 3rd installment.....no release date for Dungeon Siege 3 has been announced....

Title: Assassin's Creed III might be in Egypt
Posted: June 04, 2010 (10:52 PM)
An image recently shown by Ubisoft has a character dressed in the infamous Assassin's uniform with pyramids in the backdrop......so either Assassin's Creed III will be set in Egypt or the picture is of a different project based on the AC franchise.....i hope its AC III in Egypt.....

Title: Prince of Persia fails to rule the US Box Office
Posted: June 02, 2010 (11:20 PM)
i kinda feel sad for the the Prince of Persia movie and sadder for Hollywood that keeps trying to make movies on games and try to cash in from a successful franchise.....according to reports the $200 million budget Prince of Persia movie, based heavily on the plot of the 1st Prince of Persia game i.e. The Sands of Time, grossed only about $38 million over the Memorial Day Weekend.....

i saw the movie last night.....it does deviate a little bit from the game's story to have an extended storyline of its own i guess and even gives the Prince a name......its an ok movie i guess nothing special....
