A man's got to know his limitations.

This means more procrastination on my end. But, I do have some projects I'm gonna try to get done, and even getting one of this lot done would be a triumph. These are pretty much my nemeses, and everytime I want to write for it, I break down and weep like a nancyboy!
- Tactics Ogre
- Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis
- Ogre Battle 64
- Wild ARMs 3
...*sniff*

Game of the Day: Ghost in the Shell SAC
Song of the Day: Fleet Foxes - Mykonos
So, I realized I hadn't gotten a PSX game in quite awhile and decided to go all out as an early Christmas present. I'd actually never used eBay before and it was a pretty fun experience, although I'm generally two impatient to wait several days just to lose at the last second. :p
[PSX] - Koudelka
[PSX] - Tactics Ogre
[PSX] - Ape Escape
[PSX] - Juggernaut
[PSX] - Parasite Eve
[PSX] - Tail Concerto
[PSX] - Rising Zan: The Samurai Gunman
[PSX] - Quake II
[PSX] - Kagero: Deception II
[PSX] - The Unholy War
[PS2] - Myst III: Exile
[PSX] - Front Mission 4
[N64] - Perfect Dark
[N64] - Jet Force Gemini + Pokemon Snap
There were a few others I had my sights on (Wild Arms, Myst, D, Silent Hill, Steel Reign) but overall pretty good load. Next time there needs to be more Ace Combat-ness, though!

Game of the Day: Tomb Raider II
Song of the Day: Talking Heads - Life During Wartime
After four years of not playing (still that burnt out), time to write-up my most favoritest game ever in the whole world. Should be...an adventure.
Mood: Venterrific
Game of the Day: Final Fantasy Tactics
Song of the Day: Thin Lizzy - King's Vengeance
After overcoming the "boring point" that's caused my efforts to taper off twice, this thing's finally underway in a major...way. This is my white whale!
Mood: Ventersmashtic
Game of the Day: Arc the Lad II
Song of the Day: Ween - Your Party
So I finally saw the movie yesterday -- it's a cult classic and stuff, after all. Pretty good despite some pretty cheasy budget constraints (which don't faze me anyway). Didn't get the ending, though... Anyway, headsplodiness is always good, 'cause I never knew where that image came from.

Game of the Day: Lunar 2 Eternal Blue
Song of the Day: Air - La Femme d'Argent
That's next up. I was pleasantly surprised the rather simple story was told so well, and the dialogue and characters so endearing that it nearly smooths over the foreshadowing/battling problems (however slight they may be). The epilogue was also great, and the only fault I found was that the seller who cleaned all the disks left some gunk on there so it loops instead of going to the outtakes. 'Sides that, seventy well-spent dollars.
Expect guides and other crap to follow. :D

Game of the Day: Lunar 2 Eternal Blue Complete
Song of the Day: Eric Clapton - Bad Love
Sure it may be rather simplistic, and sticks the player at a disadvantage in about 34/36 battles, but there's taking joy in a primative blood geyser is still something to get excited about, yeah?
Mood: Venterwammic
Game of the Day: Vandal Hearts
Song of the Day: Phish - Back on the Train
Growlanser Generations is awesome. Thought it was pretty dry when I first got it, but man, it's really grown on me. Being able to shape the personality of the main character (which affects dialogue choices) is a welcome change, definitely. Wanna be a playboy? That can be arranged. Wanna be the most cynical, friend-debaser? Simply be mean! Voice acting that rises above the sea of mediocrity is great, too.
Mood: Awesometastic
Game of the Day: Growlanser Generations
Song of the Day: Radiohead - Sulk
Time...for...the...'Gears.
Game of the Day: Xenogears
Song of the Day: Widespread Panic - Thin Air (Smells Like Mississippi)
Finally got to Disc 4! I'm fully prepared to beat the game, which I've never done. Up to Ulara right now...whee!
Game of the Day: Legend of Dragoon
Song of the Day: Pearl Jam - God's Dice
Finally trudging through the first disc. Once the game starts getting to Lohan it gradually gets less boring, although I won't enjoy doing Shrine of Shirley events. Oh well, almost over -- then it's on to Fletz and fun!
Game of the Day: Legend of Dragoon
Song of the Day: Widespread Panic - Papa's Home
...is surprisingly fun throughout the game. I was only bored when doing Outlaw Jobs (i.e. slay teh baddie monster who eats peoplez!) but the humor is great. At one point when finding a gigantic slug monster, Lutz says "I didn't know we'd find your mother, Cheryl." XD!
There are also a handful of memorable characters, like the doofy announced Catch Mamaman or the always-in-disguise lovelorn ninja Spicy, or the horrible Rainbow Bridge Gang who make water references all the time. If you like ATL2, give this one a try. It's a little different and is a lot easier, but there's no doubt that it's fun to play. Most of the ATL2 characters join up temporarily at some time or another, also.
Game of the Day: Arc the Lad 3
Song of the Day: Ghost - Sun is Tangging
I got Zone of the Enders (PS2) in the mail. Anyone played it?
Game of the Day: Zone of the Enders
Song of the Day: Howlin Rain - Calling Lightning with a Scythe
...is kinda hack-'n'-slashy, but I like it for some reason. Leveling up weapons gets boring after awhile (there are sixtysome possible) and the game-controlled camera needs to be taken out behind the woodshed. 'Sides that, it's sorta fun. I mean, who doesn't want to blow up some wussgoblins with dragonfire?
[P.S. - If you say you don't, you do]
Game of the Day: Drakengard
Song of the Day: Oasis - The Hindu Times
Everything about it is awesome. <3
Game of the Day: The Legend of Dragoon
Song of the Day: Rush - Something for Nothing
