My record when my avatar is a Guy With Hair On Top: 3-0 (Mr. T, Chris Kramer, J Leman)

My record when my avatar is a Guy Without Hair On Top: 0-3 (Gene Keady--his combover half counted, so it got my team the win--Rastapopulous, Colonel K)

Donavan Freberg, annoying Encyclopedia Britannica boy, is my avatar this week. And what a beautiful mullet he is (rocking/sporting)! My successful playoff run and my team's are inevitable. I have unlocked the secret. The rest is detail.

I just hope it doesn't mess things up if he's lost a lot of hair since then. It was twenty years ago.

This doesn't seem very important.

Well, since you haven't voted for me every single round, it's clear you've also missed the (importance/literary precision/understated humor/thoughtfulness/appreciation of life's little ironies)
of several of the obscure retro reviews I've thrown out for the team tourney, so your words failed to wound me.

That's right, folks. Having a non-bald guy as my avatar is more important than, uhh, not smart-assing the judges.

Seriously, though, I better add a ZOMG to the start, to make it 110% doubleplusclear.

Oh my god. I actually remember that guy and those commercials.

Thanks Aschultz, now I feel old.

By the way, where is your previous avatar from? I know I've seen that somewhere, but can't quite put my finger on it.

Randxian--the previous avatar was Colonel K, the walrus from Dangermouse. He was M to Dangermouse's 007. Before that, Rastapopulous, from the Tintin comic series by Herge.
