I HAVE A MONOPOLY
June 17, 2009

On Apple IIgs guides at this site. Or I will shortly, unless I sent the wrong-formatted file in.

I will soon expand my empire to Apple IIgs reviews. So if you click on anything Apple IIgs, you will have my review recommended.

Can ColecoVision and Vectrex be the next to fall?

You may laugh. But many are the times I was playing computer Risk and had nought but Eastern Australia and twenty armies...and soon I rolled to victory.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll get to work on a IIgs review.

Dude, before you send in a IIgs review, you gots to establish your street cred with a old skool IIe review, kowwhuti'msayin? You can't start your Apple IIgs til you've finished your Apple IIe!

...seriously, though, this post was meant to bait bloomer vaguely and hopefully amusingly into a review of his own. You along for the ride is a welcome bonus!

Fortunately, I've already posted Apple IIe reviews so you can't completely dominate. I probably won't ever touch the Apple II GS, having never played one.

I'll probably only post a few, but who knows, I said the same thing about other systems as well. I'm not sure how useful a mass listing of games would be, so you probably will be able to tell what I am reviewing based on what I ask to be in the database.

I think I better do the first IIGS review, as I am 'IIGS Guy.' I also asked gamefaqs to add it ages ago, and got a 'it's a thing to do but not a priority' response. Which makes me burn after a fashion 'cos they already have thorough listings for a lot of very obscure computers, and the IIGS isn't even obscure. So I definitely thank HG for setting up a good IIGS home on this site.

I think I've procrastinated in the long term about reviewing its games because I felt kind of burdened committing opinions about stuff on my favourite computer, especially when there are next to no other reviews online.

Maybe I should start with a game that's not fabulous, like Passengers on the Wind, after all the trouble we went to to solve the thing.

If we had a few reviews and guides, it would probably increase the likelihood that GameFAQs would accept all that. Plus I'd really like to send in my Myraglen maps.
