Batman: Arkham City skin pack, iOS spin-off now available
You've beat the pulp out of Arkham City's criminal scum. Solved Riddler's riddles. Saved the world. What now, you ask? Do it all again -- in different Batman skins, which are all available now on the Xbox Live Marketplace, Games for Windows Live and the PlayStation Network.
The $5 (or 400 Microsoft point) pack gives the Caped Crusader seven new costumes to choose from: '70s Batman, Year One Batman, The Dark Knight Returns Batman, Earth One Batman, Batman Beyond Batman, Animated Batman (pictured above) and Sinestro Corps Batman. That's a heck of a lot of Batmen (Batmans? Bat men?).
But I get it. You've spent so much time in Arkham City that new skins just won't satiate that appetite for something new. How'd you like an iOS spin-off game instead? Because that's totally a thing too. Batman: Arkham City Lockdown, developed by Mortal Kombat developer NetherRealm Studios, is also now available on the App Store for play on iPads, iPhones and iPod Touches.
The $6 app turns the Arkham City experience into a one-versus-one brawler that sees Batman duking it out with several of the game's villains, like Joker, Solomon Grundy, Two-Face and the iOS-exclusive Deathstroke. The game will also let you take advantage of Apple's AirPlay system, which lets you stream the action from your iPhone 4S or iPad 2 to your television via Apple TV.
And if that doesn't do it for you, well, I just don't know what else I can do for you, bud. Have you played as Robin and/or Nightwing? You have? Well, I give up.
