Gearbox is looking for a real person to appear in Borderlands 2, maybe you

Borderlands 2 is happening eventually, as we were reminded today in an email from Gearbox Software's PR team. The game is happening, and you can perhaps be a part of it.

Today, the company issued a note to advise various members of the gaming press that someone will possibly have the chance to appear in the game and to help promote it near its release. The following paragraph is especially informative:

"Gearbox Software has announced a casting call for a live action look alike for one of their beloved Borderlands characters. Gearbox is looking for someone to become Lilith, and if hired they will appear in the game, Borderlands 2, as the live action version of the character and may also have the opportunity to participate in promotional events and trade shows."

It doesn't sound like any of this is set in stone, but just the chance to be part of the sequel should be enough to get at least some folks excited. You can find more information (including details about eligibility requirements) at the official site, linked at the end of this very article. How's that for convenient?
