EA Says "Thanks" With Battlefield 3 Sweepstakes

As previously reported, Battlefield 3 sold an estimated five million units in its first week alone. That's no small number, and EA knows they couldn't have done it without their dedicated fans. As a show of appreciation, EA is launching their Battlefield 3 "Says Thanks" Sweepstakes.

The contest starts on the 11th of November and ends on the 13th. Entry into the competition is simple enough. To enter, one need only play Battlefield 3 on their console of choice during these three days. In fact, players can enter the contest once a day, increasing their odds of victory.

You'd best enter as much as possible, because the winners have some impressive prizes in store for them. The grand prize is a trip to Stockholm to visit DICE with three friends, including plane tickets, hotel rooms, and $1000 spending money per person. Second prize is $5000, and third prize is a console of the winner's choice.

Few fans of Battlefield 3 need an excuse to take advantage of the game's popular multiplayer experience, but, regardless, EA has offered quite a convincing reason.
