Rockstar releases new Max Payne 3 screenshots

When we first added Max Payne 3 to our database, the year was 2009 and a release of the game by year's end was looking likely. Since then, a lot has happened in the industry. Some people have no doubt forgotten that Max Payne even exists (except as a movie with Mark Wahlberg), but Rockster remembers.

Currently slated for release in March of 2012, Max Payne 3 is coming to the expected platforms--Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3--and looking very familiar. Today, Rockstar released a fresh batch of screenshots to whet your appetite for what is to come.

Max Payne 3 may still be a ways away, but it looks like this time we'll finally get to experience the dark protagonist's third chapter. More coverage is sure to follow as the game nears its release, so rest comfortably knowing that you likely haven't heard the last from us when it comes to Max.
