Jurassic Park: The Game coming to multiple platforms this November
Telltale Games announced today that it will be shipping Jurassic Park: The Game on November 15th. The title has gone gold and will arrive on four initial platforms: Xbox 360, PlayStation Network, Mac and PC. An iPad edition is expected to follow a short time later, by way of the iTunes AppStore.
Jurassic Park: The Game promises a cinematic adventure that takes place once again on Isla Nublar, the site of Jurassic Park. You'll play through the area during the events depicted in the movie, traveling through locations from the movie and also exploring new ones. Beasts from the film will also make an appearance, along with a few new critters.
"Jurassic Park: the Game continues a series of 'firsts' for the company and highlights the strategic transformation we've undergone to become a multi-platform publishers," says Telltale's co-founder and CEO, Dan Connors. "This holiday, millions of consumers will be able to experience this all-new Jurassic Park adventure no matter what their platform of choice is."
There was no reference to an eventual Wii release.
Jurassic Park: The Game is rated T for Teen. Fans who pre-order the PC/Mac version from Telltale's online store (www.telltalegames.com) can receive $10 off the price of the Deluxe Edition (regularly $49.99, but available for $39.99 after the discount).
