Old Navy offers free copies of New Super Mario Bros. U on Black Friday
Theoretically speaking, spending $40 at an Old Navy on Black Friday could net you a Wii U and a free copy of New Super Mario Bros. U to boot. That is, if you're extremely lucky, of course.
According to a Nintendo press release, the house of Mario is teaming up with Old Navy on Black Friday weekend (Nov. 22 - Nov. 24) to promote the Wii U, which is due for release on Nov. 18. While supplies last, customers who purchase $40 or more of merchandise at Old Navy on Black Friday will get a free copy of New SMB U, which retails at a suggested $60. (Hint: Line up early.) Also, cards will be given out that weekend that offer the chance to win one of 1,000 Wii Us.
But even if you don't get to be one of the lucky ones, there's plenty of Nintendo-themed fun to be had at Old Navy stores that weekend, as one third of them across the U.S. will have Wii U demo stations and Mario-themed photo backdrops. Old Navy's flagship stores in San Francisco and New York City will also have some "extra activities" and photo ops with costumed Nintendo characters! Yay!
