Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time sneaks to February 2013 for PS3, Vita

No, it's not launching this fall anymore, but Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is still launching simultaneously on PlayStation 3 and PS Vita on Feb. 5, 2013, according to the PlayStation Blog. Sly's next major console adventure will be available physically at retail and digitally on the PlayStation Network.

The Sanzaru Games-developed platformer will also be a part of Sony's new Cross Buy promotions, which let's buyers of the PS3 version of Thieves in Time get its PS Vita version for free -- something that'll be very handy, considering you can transfer game saves back and forth between platforms.

"Now that’s a — wait for it — a steal!" said Christian Cardona, an associate product marketing manager for Sony, in the PlayStation Blog post announcing the release date. He so funny!

Aside from the now solid release date, Cardona also mentioned those who pre-order Thieves in Time will get some exclusive skins available for use in either version of the game, and that those itching to get an early taste of some current-gen Sly can get early access to its demo buy purchasing the Ratchet and Clank Collection, which is now available at retail.
