Nintendo to hold Month of Mario sale in preparation for New Super Mario Bros. 2

New Super Mario Bros. 2 is about a month away, and Nintendo intends to get you in a Mario mood by putting one Mario 3DS Virtual Console game on sale per week between now and then.

The sales and dates are as follows:

July 26th: Super Mario Bros. - $3.99 (Down from $4.99)
August 2nd: Super Mario Land - $2.99 (Down from $3.99)
August 9th: Super Mario Land 2 - $2.99 (Down from $3.99)
August 16th: Mario's Picross - $2.99 (Down from $3.99)

It's worth noting that all of these games go on sale on Thursdays, while the recent "Deal of the Weekend" sales have started on Fridays. It's not clear if the "Deal of the Weekend" program will continue while this Month of Mario.
