Far Cry 3 delayed to holiday season
Far Cry 3 won't arrive on shelves this September as initially believed, Ubisoft announced today, and instead will launch in the holiday window of this year. The U.S. will get the title on Dec. 4, while Europe, the Middle East and Africa will get it on Nov. 29.
Of course, what can Ubisoft can say about the delay aside from it was done to improve the game?
"We're taking more time to create the best possible gameplay experience," said Dan Hay, a producer at Ubisoft in a press release. "Far Cry 3 is a huge offering and we want every element of this insane, action-packed adventure to be of the highest possible quality for the players."
But do you buy that? Or do you think Ubisoft could be prepping Far Cry 3 for a Wii U launch release? Only time will tell us the answer to that, as well as the answer to what the game's bound-to-be-insane four-player co-op will be like.
