The first one is a lot of fun; check it out if you can. Hopefully I'll have reviews done shortly, but basically the second one is really formulaic and boring, and completely misses the potential it sets for itself.

Resistance 2 was one of my first PS3 games, I've enjoyed it many times. A surprisingly good shooter with some fairly boring environments and some terrible driving sections. I hope you rail against those driving sections, they are extremely pointless. Great co-op game and the multiplayer is actually playable by someone who is colour blind and can't usually tell his similarly-dressed teammates apart (fuck you, Call of Duty, fuck you hard).

the only cool part was fighting the leviathan(..was that what it was called?) in the chicago skyscrapers...other than that..the first one had more tension and the novelty just wore off with the second game.

Uh... I'm assuming you're talking about the first one, Zipp? Not the second one?

I actually thought the vehicle segments were fine, at least compared to some other games. Unnecessary, sure, but I've seen worse implementation.
