It's the avatar that did it. When I had my Yankees avatar up in 2004 they infamously lost to the Red Sox in the ALCS. I was smart enough to keep it quiet this year. :)

Good call. I'll keep that in mind later this season if the Eagles make it to the Super Bowl.

I wasn't going to laugh, but that made me remember the team who beat the Eagles in the NFC championship.

Then I felt obliged to. Heh heh.

In unrelated news, non-yankee fans probably want to avoid the ESPN web page for the next couple weeks or so.

I won't laugh; unless the Giants seriously do something about their secondary right now I cannot picture the Eagles not taking the NFC East. Skins aren't up to par, and the Giants are struggling now that teams have figured out that their secondary is god-awful. Of course the Cowboys are 5-2 but I feel the Eagles are the stronger team.

Yeah what's the deal with the Redskins? I'm not complaining (especially since I have cousins who live in that area) but still, they've been absolutely bombing this season.
