Indeed. As controversial as he was, I personally don't think he was as bad as people made him out to be. I think there was a lot of good in him. Just my opinion.

Irregardless, a lot of his songs kick ass.

It's ironic that he was married to Lisa Marie Presley and his post super-stardom cycle of isolationism, paranoia, prescription drug abuse and untimely death so closely mirrors Elvis, the most (and maybe only) comparable solo mega-star America's seen. It's also very sad.

Time to bust out a Moonwalker review.

Tragic, and far too young. No doubt he was controversial, but I liked his music all the same.

Too bad he was known for being a pervert and a bunch of other controversies in the past 10-15 years. A sad end to a sad life.

If you read the actual cases about his alleged child perversions, they're very thin on evidence. It was all sensationalism and a chance for some yokels to make a million dollars.

On his part, after the first suit, he should've stopped having children sleep over, no matter how innocent the act. But that was MIchael. He was never one to do it anyone else's way.

It's funny. Someone at work today was trying to recall one of Michael Jackson's music videos. He described it as Jackson and some other guys in suits leaning forward, taking their hats off, leaning back, and finally putting their hats back on. Then he said Jackson flipped a quarter and it landed in a jukebox.

I remember that scene from the video game Moonwalker, so I suggested maybe that is the video he is trying to remember. He just gave me a funny look when I said it reminded me of the video game though.

The scene in the video game may have been based on one of Michael's videos.
