Both of the elevators in my building are stuck. I live on the tenth floor.

That sucks. But hey. At least you didn't have to wake up at 3 in the morning because some jackass pulled the fire alarm (or something to where it went off) then stand outside in the cold and rain for ten minutes until they tell you you can go into the second building for warmth and then wait there for another ten minutes until finaly telling us we can go back into our regular building again and actually sleep thank you.

Haha.

Aaahhhh yes, good ol' fasioned college dorm/apartment shenanigans. I miss those days.

I was lucky to have a room on the ground level my Freshman year of college, so didn't need the stairs or elevator.

Whenever I had an apartment, I wasn't too far from the ground floor, so that was never an issue.

Of course, one of my favorites were the fires caused by burnt popcorn. LOL!

That happens a lot in dorms. I don't like waiting for elevators in general and the abrupt stops tend to make nauseous, so I always try to live on the lowest floor possible. I'm on the 2nd floor of my building this year and the 1st floor of my Brownstone next year.
