Game: Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space (Xbox 360)
Posted: December 01, 2009 (12:09 AM)
While [Sam & Max: Beyond Space and Time] doesn't progress the genre beyond where it wads a decade ago, it's still a solid resurgence of a lost art.

Game: Ghostbusters: The Video Game (Wii)
Posted: August 16, 2009 (03:49 AM)
It's got the script, style, and soul of its source material, but fails to build a compelling game around these elements.

Rarely has a game been so awful in so many ways, yet still proven so awesome at the same time.

Game: Peggle: Dual Shot (DS)
Posted: March 31, 2009 (05:47 PM)
Peggle: Dual Shot is a simple, casual activity that won't take much out of you, and is perfect for morning commute when your brain is still mush and doesn't want to heavily invest in anything.

It [Afro Samurai] may not be the masterpiece it could or even should be, but it's still one of the better games of its kind to come along in awhile.

Game: Moon (DS)
Posted: January 22, 2009 (12:31 AM)
If you're someone who does a lot of commuting and happen to be a big fan of first-person shooters, Moon might just hit that sweet spot you're looking for. For everyone else, there's little here to distinguish it from any number of first-person shooters from the last decade.

Game: Midnight Club: Los Angeles (PlayStation 3)
Posted: November 12, 2008 (01:23 AM)
If you can get past the pain of losing the same race for the umpteenth time, Midnight Club: Los Angeles is a very good racing game.

Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia is a really good Castlevania game, and among the best games on the DS.

Game: Dead Space (PlayStation 3)
Posted: October 23, 2008 (06:41 PM)
When it (Dead Space) sticks to its more original ideas; the zero-g environments, the severing of limbs with unique weapons, the lack of ammo, etc. it works very well. But it doesn’t capitalize on these innovations as it should.

Game: World of Goo (Wii)

World of Goo is a stunning example of how to build a simple physics-based puzzle game into something truly epic.
