Yeah I heard about that for a while. I played the first one and didn't think it was so great so my expectations for the movie aren't so high.

...wasn't Max Payne a kind of cartoon at some point?

I knew there would be a Max Payne movie, and that Mark Wahlberg would be in it... but... I wasn't aware of this.

I remember when there was a teaser and a only brief sight of the Valkyries everyone on SA was hoping they were just hallucinations. I'm guessing that's not the case from the looks of it :|

Huh... Well, I've never played the game or anything, so I have no idea what this is about, anyway, but that movie looks kind of stupid anyway.
The only thing I know about Max Payne is that I'm pretty sure it was a live action cartoon on the WB network years and years and years and years ago. I think.

Ummm, I think you're thinking of Max Steel.

Wolfqueen: Max Payne was a massively influential PC action game released about... ooh... seven years ago now. It was the first title, to my knowledge, to use slow motion sequences as a huge gameplay feature. More than anything, it was bloody brilliant, as was its sequel. Both centred around their fascinating narratives, which is why this looks all the more bizarre.

Ah, I see. haha. Genj's right - I was thinking of Max Steel.
That's very interesting, though. Maybe I'll check those out sometime.
