YouTube is silly.

The first time I ever received a notice about Copyright violation on my channel I was quite alarmed and upset. How could anyone sue my uploads when all I am doing is playing videogames and its just videogame footage not unlike plenty of channels that do the same? As I kept getting said nonsense I found out most were phony claims made by someone who had too much time on their hands to do anything productive overall.

Now I see that "Capcom" is trying to get a slice of the trolling pie. YouTube is certainly a place where I can't take seriously their idiotic "guidelines" at all.

I don't mind when Capcom claims content if I'm streaming a Capcom game, or some other publisher/developer when I stream other games. They put the money and creative talent into producing that game. I have no right to actually stream that content and generate revenue of my own. What gets me is when I put up a game video and some company with no rights whatsoever (like some group out of Russia) files a claim to get any money that video might generate. They are actual trolls, and I wish them nothing but the worst.

I am sure whoever was posing as Capcom was one of said trolls.
