I don't recall hearing the fan unless I'm right next to the console. It's not that loud.

Also don't remember hearing the disc spinning.

- To exercise and improve my writing abilities.

- To both receive and give constructive feedback.

- Regarding the above, to share ideas and try to assimilate new, creative ideas others suggest into my own works.

- To give fair assessments of games. Conveying what makes my favorite games so great and why my least favorite games are trash.

- To be involved in a community and develop rapport with other people.

this to Michael Bay, whose Transformers 2 had horrible dialog... and was also a shitty, poorly shot, unconvincing action movie.

Good god, don't remind me. I was trying to forgot all about those idiot twin robots and their psuedo-Eubonic talk. And people think Jar Jar Binks is annoying.

Too many other inconsistencies as well. It certainly is unconvincing.

Cute Japanese girls dressed up mice are definitely art. I don't give a shit what anybody says.

Well, Bart does spray paint stuff purple in Bart vs The Space Mutants for the NES.

So video games with Bart are art. Ha!

All of a sudden my favorie games will not work because the characters went on strike when they learned they are not classified as high art. Whatever shall I do?

I thought after 20 years of trying, I would finally be able to conquer Super Mario Bros. 2 for the NES. I guess Dreamland is shit out of luck.

I also guess I'll never become a "better person" now either. Oh well.

So... is the mode that only allows you play three stages easier? It is like Double Dragon 2 for the NES where you have to pick the harder settings to play more stages?

If not, then I wonder what is the point behind that weird option. Who in their right mind would only want access to three stages if the difficulty is exactly the same?

What pisses me off the most is the title is jacked straight off of a Nickelodian cartoon.

Also, it appears he jacked the plot as well. So basically, judging from you summary, there is nothing in this review that is original or particularly innovative outside of the special effects.

What a pile of shit. I'm with you; the people who think this is the greatest thing since the wheel need to get their heads out of their asses and see this for what it really is - garbage.

Maybe you should try the SNES version. It's bound to be easier than the arcade version.

Well, I think there is a difference between people who have legit disabilities and those who have no common sense whatsoever.

Basically, we handle repayments on student loans. A large portion of it is helping people who have lost their job, had their hours cut, etc.

I'm more than happy to help those people out. What pisses me off are the dumbshits who think they are entitled to every single program that is available instead of realising some programs aren't necessarily for everybody.

Using a german suplex to move people from ahead to behind you IS cool, however.

Personally, I prefer jumping a top people's heads ala classic Super Mario Bros. That's another way to move ahead of the line quickly, and the people will be too squishy to complain.

I suppose I'm guilty of #1. I'll try to remember to let you know when I have to leave over AIM. Sorry about that.

I certainly understand what you mean about the waiting in line rant. To add on that, I hate it when there are two lines and people are just waiting around half assed in the middle. Get in one line or the other. Yeah, I like being in the one moving the fastest, but they should have to wait in one line like everyone else.

Action 52 - The game that proves more is not necessarily better. Sometimes less is more, as the ol' adage goes.

You're doing this all bass ackwards. You're supposed to stay up until 2 AM playing your games. The only time you should really study is about a day before any tests. You're also supposed to skip classes at least once or twice a week so you have more time to play all those great games.

Okay, maybe not.

Well, maybe that's for people who are unhappy with their current campaign and like to start over. Who knows?

Agreed. I'm glad you wrote this post.

Item # 3 is probably the most important in my eyes. I always make it a point to list at least a couple of positives to show I appreciate the effort put forth by the author, and so it doesn't look like my post is simply an attack.

I really hope people read this blog and take the advice presented here. This would clear up a lot of problems.

I don't care if they never connect the Mega Man and the X series. I honestly have no clue why anyone gives a crap about that.

It's not a big deal to me, but if we as critics are going to kick some game in their electronic nuts for having a bad or cliched story, then shouldn't that apply across the board?

I don't see why some games get a free pass for having a plot and timeline completely out of sorts, yet other games are burnt at the stake. To me, genre shouldn't matter. If this is something that a game needs, then it should apply across the board.

Mega Man is getting to be a joke. Why did he suddenly lose the ability to charge the mega buster and his slide ability starting in Mega Man 9?

And the whole Wily is now a good guy thing - They tried that in Mega Man 3. Are Light and the good guys really that stupid? How many chances are they going to give Wily? How many times is he going to be the main villain? When will they finally connect this series to the X series?

Capcom just keeps stringing us along. Frankly, I've had enough.
