Reviewed by karpah (June 20, 2004) I still remember the day I heard about this game called Parasite Eve II. A friend of mine was selling it for five bucks, and seeing as I had just purchased a Playstation and had only one game for it, I thought, why not. I think I got a pretty good deal right there, that day. |

Reviewed by zippdementia (April 04, 2010) People take Parasite Eve’s story too seriously. I remember my scientist friend getting all worked up because the game was perpetuating what she called a “biased view of the medical certainties of Mitochondria.” On the other extreme, my dorky high school friend became convinced, after playing the first game, that if he could get his metabolism high enough he would gain super powers.
